"HOW TO CLEAN YOUR MAKEUP BRUSHES"

Hey Guys!!!!!
As you all know that makeup brushes are one of the most important things in our whole makeup procedure.Even if you use mac products,if the brushes are not good then your makeup is gonna look like a disaster. So use of good makeup brushes is very important. And the brushes should be clean.Because dirty brushes have alot of bacteria which can damage your skin. The people who apply makeup everyday should clean their brushes more frequently.I'd say once a week. For other once a month.

1.Take a plate.Any old plate will do.

2.Add 2 to 3 table spoons of olive oil in it.The amount of it totally depends upon the number of makeup brushes.Olive oil helps to get rid of bacteria.

3.Add the same amount of liquid dish washing detergent in it.It helps to clean the brushes.

4.Now take the brushes one by one and mix this mixture with the brushes. You will see the colour come out of the brushes and will be quite visible on plate. Also run down your hand through the brushes to make sure the colour is out.

5.Now wash the brushes in tap water.Keep washing until all the washing brushes are clean and free of detergent and olive oil. Also use your hands to reach the inner bristles.

6.Now dry the excess water with a towel or a piece of cloth.

7.Now place all the brushes on a news paper or a piece of cloth in your room. You can also place them under the fan. They take 12 hours to dry in my case. But it totally depends on your atmosphere.
When they are dry.you will see that you have clean & clear brushes which almost look like new.

I hope you all like this tip.Feel free to give your suggestions or ask any question.
What do you do to clean your makeup brushes?
And keep smiling. :)
LOVE
KUKI

  16. Awesome tips- I usually wash my brushes with Johnson's Baby Shampoo- but the Olive Oil sounds like a great way to keep them from getting brittle.

  26. Hi honey, thanks for stopping by ! :)

Love this tip - I've misplaced my brush cleanser, I'll definitely try the olive oil :) usually I use brush cleanser, can't remember the brand. My aesthetitian sais that you can wash your brushes with olive soap, as in regular block soap :) haven't tried it yet..

Thanks for following me, I'll follow you back :)
